SBDO with LBDO, photo obtained & posted hereto. The SBDO is much smaller, slimmer and shorter-legged, with a shorter bill. The Short-billed favors saltwater beaches and mudflats while the Long-billed is usually found in freshwater pools, but there is a lot of overlap
