Observation details
The bird was onshore among a mixed of flock of gulls and at one point involved in an altercation with a gull. It was standing erect and also laid down. It had the all black face of a breeding adult unlike the Common Murre observed swimming south at 12:20 p.m., which had the facial pattern of a non-breeding adult.
