Observation details

Not observed. Id requires confirmation but comparison with other recordings (available at ML) suggest this species (see for example: https://macaulaylibrary.org/asset/167993911). If identification can be confirmed, this would probably be the first record of the species in Paraguay. Voice perhaps 200 m away from the recordist (to the south, where different mirco-habitats are present. The quality of the recording is bad. The vocalization was also heard the day before (same place and hour of the day). The species only vocalized four times in less than four minutes. The recording provided has been edited in order to make it short. In total the species vocalized four times, each of them was separted between 55sg to 1,33sg to the next. The original recording (deposited in ML is 30 minutes long, but only heard four times in a lapse time of less than four minutes. Recording time (solar time: 19h). The id of this vocalization was recently suggested by Alex Grave to whom I am grateful.
