Observation details
Rare but regular in this context. Drake. Physical appearance in between Common and Barrow's. Bill seemed slightly smaller and stubbier than nearby Conmmons and head the shape more reminiscent of Barrow's with slight mane towards the rear. Ovular white patch on face, not crescent shaped as seen in Barrow's. Intermediate black on upperparts lacking defined spur as seen on Barrow's. But clearly more black on this bird than the other Common Goldeneye that were present.
