Observation details
At least 5 seen at the same time, but there may have been even more. I thought they were Cliff Swallows at first, because their breast was so pale, but after examining my photos, I was able to better see their tail feathers (the length, but also the white spots on the underside). I'm thinking they may have been subadult birds, not yet fully in their more distinctive adult plumage? Not a bird I was expecting to see on this trip; it's very early in the year. Will add photos shortly; all 5 birds can be seen perched in a shrub with a Tree Swallow (and a seventh swallow which I *think* may be another TRES?)
