Observation details

Today was an extremely challenging day for counting Sandhill Cranes. Unlike yesterday where almost all of the birds passed, today many flocks would spin back around. When those birds turned back around, I tried to keep an estimation of how many birds in what sized flocks were moving back and would not count flocks of similar sizes. The waterbird counter watched >3000 birds cross.
