Observation details
Foraging at the wave break east of the parking area at the base of gooseberry, small gull with black patch behind the eye foraging swiftly along the wave break flying up and over a few hundred feet twice. In flight the orange leg and foot is visible. Orange-black beak visible. Someone else was there taking a photograph at the same time as I viewed the bird.
