Media notes
Juvenile/immature bill clacking in a tree. Parent ran away shortly beforehand.
Observation details
Saw adult jump out of tree and run away from us (perhaps to lure us away from its young). Then we heard a juvenile bill rattling/clacking in the same tree. I took photographs and recorded the juvenile with my phone. I also have a video of it making this sound if anyone is interested. The tree was quite close to the bike path.
