Observation details
Found by Karl Bardon and confirmed as the same individual present at WI Point in mid-October. Very brownish/dirty-looking gull, a little smaller than the Herring Gulls that were near it. Bright bicolored bill, mostly pinkish-yellowish with a mostly black tip. Body appeared almost more dark gray than brown, darker auriculars than the rest of the head, dark eye, very light pink legs, dark secondaries, with slightly lighter coverts, primaries appeared a little paler than the secondaries, though getting very dark at the outer (p8-10), dark retricies though with some white extending into R6 on each side, very light uppertail with dark barring, some gray feathers starting to come into the mantle.
