Observation details
First spotted in suitable habitat north of the nature center. Followed the first bird and after 10 minutes a second bird appeared forging on the ground. Light blue coloring that is typical of Florida scrub Jay on tail wings, nape, and face. White forehead, dark eyes. Gray back and Lighter slightly streaked gray breast. After a few minutes, the birds changed positions and the first bird was on the trail foraging. Flat head vs. crest ruled out BLJA. Possible cell phone photos.
