Observation details
Continuing from reports earlier this month. This is my fourth try for this bird! Finally connected today, I think because the weather is the nicest it has been in a while. From main parking lot, I walked under the bridge and stood on the bench observing the brewery property across the river. After observing a sparrow flock for a few minutes I heard the distinct call of a Black Phoebe, and then located it perched on a pole on the roof of one of the structures on the opposite shore. It continued calling for the remainder of the time I was there, moving between various perches there and then flying down the river closer to the falls. Observed black cap, back, and chest and white belly. May have recorded audio that is usable. #120 for the year!
