Observation details
Continuing since November 29, found by Julie Belliveau. Very distinctive Turdus, brown back, grey head, peachy wash to black spotted breast, dark tail, grey rump, and gleaming white underwing coverts. Rather characteristic undulating flight—easily picked out at a distance. Slightly larger than American Robins, and appeared a bit longer tailed. At one point, gave chase to a robin around an ornamental berry tree. Also heard unique "chr-chr-chr" calls, much deeper and of a different quality than the robins. Fairly mobile, flying around a lot. However, there were some extended periods of time of sitting out in the open for viewing.
