Observation details
A Red-shouldered Hawk had been hanging around the Keller turn-around for an hour or so, perched on the fence and in various trees. As I was leaving, I saw it dive to the ground and come up with a mouse or something. Then, suddenly it was in the air in a tussle with a dark hawk over its prey. I think the mouse was dropped, the Red-shouldered Hawk flew off, and then I saw this bird circling overhead. All quite exciting.
