Observation details
*Long-staying overwinterers; refound yesterday by Maddy, and relayed to me today by Tzvi. Taking advantage of a comically tiny amount of pine habitat, ample human-provided food, and probably warmth from the tennis center. Seen simultaneously as they crept around the pines and nearby chain-link fence on the southeast side of the tennis bubble, occasionally coming to the ground to drink. Chipping and zeeping but quite inconspicuous. A very nice treat in midwinter, but one of my favorite warblers in any season. Digiscope photos of one
