Observation details
Spotted by another birder at (35.8568557, -75.8919276), at the eastern end of the first impoundment west of the intersection with Butler Rd. We waited a few minutes and were turning around when one participant saw an odd flycatcher. We got back on it and were treated to great looks as it foraged on either side of the canal. Great ending to the trip!
