Observation details
Seen slightly downstream from the launch, below the dam, where it was hardly moving along the river bank for the 15 minutes we were there, most of its energy spent bobbing its tail. Foraging on water surface from very edge of creek bank. Very yellow wash on flanks. Unstreaked throat, wide supercilium, very long bill for a warbler-type bird.
