Observation details
First observed yesterday, this was an adult female. Initially spotted in the large spruce adjacent to the parking lot on the north side of Wyuka Stables, the bird eventually flew to the east and out of view. Larry Einemann and I walked up the hill in that direction, and a few minutes later the bird flew into a crabapple tree in what I think is Area 9. She munched on crabapples for quite a long time, during which several birders assembled to watch and take photographs. She eventually flew northeast and had not be re-located by the time I left, about 11:30.
