Observation details

Flushed one from under the bridge immediately upon arriving at the boy scout platform, and then it began vocalizing. Spent about 20 minutes looking from on the platform until I spotted it again in the stream going toward the lake, I climbed down from the platform and immediately noticed a second rail much closer to the bridge (still lakeside). Neither ever gave me amazing looks and remained very shy in the reeds, but there were multiple occasions where I observed both of them together, often chasing one another. Last winter I desperately wanted to see the wintering Virginia Rail here and was never given a view until I flushed it one day and never got another view. **Whenever I post photos here they routinely get one-star quality ratings so I can only imagine how posting these obstructed and slightly out-of-focus photos is going to go lol
