Observation details
One smaller goose found among hoards of Canada Geese. Size was less than half the size of surrounding CANG which should help to separate it from a Lesser Canada which should be closer to 2/3 or 3/4 the size of a larger Canadensis goose. Bill length is fairly long, but appears within range of CACG. Head shape is not as square as many clean cut Richardson's CACG but the head does appear more rounded (and at some angles slightly square) than the sloping head shape of CANG. No white neck line on this bird, but it was significantly darker breasted than surrounding CANG.
