Photo taken about 1/2 mile east of Rattlesnake Springs immediately after I left to look for it
Observation details
Male. Gray bird of prey with black wingtips. Long tail with bright white rump. Seen flying low east of the property near the Black River, fighting the wind. Chased it and got a couple poor pictures well east of Washington Ranch. Very rare summer resident.
