Observation details
Very small stint reminiscent of a Sharp-tailed Sandpiper which stood with very upright and "stretched out" neck at times. Obviously smaller than Banded Dotterel and adjacent European Starling and with yellow legs clearly visible at times. Buff edges to back feathers with two obvious paler "tramlines" running down its back. White supercilium and crouched posture when feeding. See photographs.
