Observation details
initially heard in thick pines along Dealba Rd then a female found with a buff belly and dusky plumage, a rare resident around here or dispersal from mallee areas nearby such as Rushworth or Kamarooka, still a lot to learn about this species and it’s distribution, also seen nearby to here at Black Gully Dam a few years ago, later a male seen on Lang Track, half grey tail noted and seems to have more extensive black around the bib and face than Golden Whistler
