Observation details

Previously a huge doubt for me, but after some retrospection it's pretty obviously a juvenile spotted dove. Stupid child thinking he found a Red-Collared Dove. I mean sure, it's a valid question, and it's always good to question, but that dumbass child DIDN'T THINK TO CHECK THE MORE OBVIOUS ANSWERS FIRST. Evidence in favour: Same colour scheme (dark sandy brown wings, lighter on head and body) Weak black and white band around the neck is a developing stage of the neck patch of the adult. Very common species
