Observation details
Continuing myiarchus flycatcher originally reported by Robert & Jimmy McMorran on 1/5/24. Surprisingly busy/noisy street, but a couple breaks in traffic allowed me to hear the melancholy whistle call repeated several times. It then popped up on the right side of the barranca, near the yucca where originally reported. Similar to Ash-throated Flycatcher, although slighter built with slim bill, brighter yellow belly, and darker breast and cap.
