Observation details
Seawatch from the southwest corner of the point overlook by the parking lot. I was about 1/3 of the way down the ramp when I saw the goose overhead flying southbound. Then shortly after, Bryan drove up and asked me if I saw what just flew by and I told him it looked like a canada/cackling like goose. He was on his way out of the park at the time, but decided to join me for another loop around the point to refind the goose-which was unsuccessful. Goose with black head, white chin strap, black neck, pale breast, sandy/gray underparts, distinct black and white tail pattern. Impression of smallish bill profile suggested a lesser type Canada, but my views were also challenged with the stiff winds. Briefly seen with glass and photo'd.
