Observation details
Large numbers of BBS feeding on salt pan with other small shorebirds. This area of the McArthur KBA regularly supports large numbers of BBS. Median ground count for BBS in April (northern staging for the PMAC KBA 2010-2020 from 50 counts where this species was detected = 133, maximum count 773. This is a northern staging count meaning that these birds could be aggregating during staging for northern migration.
