Observation details

Partnered with the Long-billed Corella. I initially listed this as a possible hybrid with Long-billed: has tall crest, some salmon to the lores and is similar size to the Long-billed (all features matching Western) but bill was longer than that on the Long-billed, so I questioned whether it might be a hybrid. Posted to Western Australia Birding group and got confirmation it's a Western. Further, checking my photos of Westerns from Rocky Gully show other Westerns with similarly long bills (and indeed even more salmon colouration), so bill length is also as expected for Western.
