Observation details
Heard before I saw it. I think it was complaining about a nearby Red-tail. Distinctive- a rising 'week week week week (in volume), rapidly dropping off and then repeated. Recorded and sent to reviewer. Views of the bird were frustrating-mostly the upper torso perched in a tree or flying straight away or behind trees. No good views of the tail. Body and head black. Bill very thick (top to bottom). Cere bright yellow, end black. Lores light colored. Eyes brown. Pics. Replaced Flickr links with photos 6/17/17
