Observation details
We first saw her (I believe it may be a female) flying over us as we walked along 110th St near 68th Ave. We watched her land in a high tree and looked for a while. My wife took some photos. she flew off and we continued east to the intersection of 68th Ave and 112th Street. Suddenly she landed on a power line not more than 20 feet off the ground just above the sidewalk. See photos... In her grasp was a dying dove. I saw the dove look at me and then close her eyes for good. A magnificent bird. After looking at us and resting, she flew off into a high evergreen.
