Observation details
Smaller hawk compared to red-tailed or Swainson's. Assumed it was the juvenile Gray Hawk but the belly was streaked horizontally with reddish stripes. Tail had a couple white bars but was too short for an accipiter and head too large. Lots of white spotting on back, unable to see red "shoulders". Seen in the SE corner on dead tree south of the park. Flew toward the creek. Unable to locate it later. Pics Removed Flickr links and replaced with photos 6/17/17
