Observation details
Interesting bird. Same size as Greater White-fronted Geese it associated with and with many similar features but bill and legs pinkish (not orange as in Gr. White-fronted Geese), with extensive white on face and lower body. Did not have any characteristics that struck me as from a Canada or Cackling goose (no black bill or legs, no extensive black on face, no contrast between neck and chest etc...) but extensive white on body and pinkish bill and legs suggestive of Snow Goose. Gr. White-fronted Geese breed in Arctic, so crossings with domestic geese seem less likely. Photos.
