A Lawrence’s Thrush sings from high in a canopy tree near the beginning of the Mazama Trail. Background includes: White-throated Toucan, Chestnut-tailed Antbird, Collared Trogon, Common Scale-backed Antbird, & raindrops. Recorded using a Fostex FR-2LE with a Sennheiser ME67 and foam windscreen.
Observation details
at least three singing strongly, different from yesterday; recorded; wonderful mimicry
