Observation details
Continuing bird. Holly was first alerted to his presence by a very angry mob of crows and ravens attacking something in the Maryknoll complex. The object of their attention then flew out and landed on a telephone pole in the alley below Grand Avenue park, where it stayed perched for 20 minutes (before leaving/returning to same post for another 10 minute stint). Patient enough for David and a neighbor to be called to also come over and witness it TEARING apart an Acorn Woodpecker. SO cool
