Observation details
Continuing immature male feeding in the flowering orange aloe plants between the parking lot and the University House (34.408844, -119.844306). A dull yellow-green bird with a black throat and white wingbars. There was also a very similar looking and sized bird present simultaneously with the male that was deemed a female due to lack of a black throat. Both of these birds were much smaller than a nearby Bullock’s Oriole.
