Observation details

Continuing. Initially seen at 0843, swimming low over lake, massive kingfisher, went around the corner before I set my camera up. Found soon after, photographed and recorded. Sadly Im on the wrong side of sunrise for ideal photos. Female. heavily rufous underside with heavy bill. First rarity of 2024
