disturbed AMRO calling from high in a roadside tree, both calling individuals I encountered seemed threatened and flew to high perches
Observation details
one bird at the North end of Longnecker Gardens “chup” -ing concernedly from within a spruce shrub before flushing to the top of a nearby tree, also a few individuals calling loudly and foraging in fruiting trees with CEWA flock at the Western end of the gardens, the arboretum especially tends to host many AMRO year round due to presence of more fruiting trees and thawed springs at the lake’s edge, photographed and audio recorded
