Observation details
probably an undercount, two larger groups one at birch area in Southeast corner of Longnecker Gardens and one at the North in the conifers section, quite skittish and evasive with trilling chips and occasional harsh “TCK” calls, one individual near my feet at the base of a juniper was less afraid, I wonder of the bicoloration of dark grey above and white belly has anything to do with camouflaging on snowy ground? photographed and audio recorded
