A little one could be seen flapping its wings inside the nest cavity.
Observation details
Today we noted 2 adults going to and from nest cavity. Assumed one male and one female. Was able to photograph them both together on a limb above the nest cavity. Today we were also able to see one baby peeping out of nest and flapping its wings. See photos for documentation of this activity and ID. The little one should be fledging soon. Weather permitting we will continue to monitor. Area can only be reached by boat and is filled with hidden logs and snags. Due to heavy rains the water level is up and makes it difficult to see the safe area in which to travel. coordinates 30.3368 N and 85.5607 W Nest cavity well above the water line.
