Observation details
Four birds association at the first bridge and one at the bottom of windy pass. All highly associating with mountain streams. These birds were agile denizens of the streams as they danced around flitted between the tuff. From a distance their upright posture with a cinnamon cap, dark tail, and creamy underside were apparent. Upon closer inspection the split eyeline giving way to a contrasty facial pattern became clear.
