Observation details
Tim Spahr: Ok wow, as expected this is super complicated. recording 1110: Mostly Cassia, and some Type 5 mixed in. This clip really gets the good, dry "drip drip" of the Cassia birds compared to the twangy "clip clip" of the Type 5s. Note there are some juvs calling in here too. recording 1116: Lots of Type 5, some Cassia, and some Type 2. Cassia more audible in early part of the clip recording 1118: Mix of Cassia, Type 5, and some Type 1/5/2 birds. Really some confusing calls. recording 1119: Another mix of confusing stuff. Another bird on the border with 1/2/5 (I swear this is the most difficult spot in the US to type birds!) recording 1120: Type 5 and Cassia (maybe Type 2). Good clip to listen to in order to hear contrast between 5 and Cassia 20-22 seconds has both types. recording 1121: Type 2, 5 and Cassia. recording 1124: yikes. Almost impossible! But Types 2, 5 and Cassia. recording 1125: Type 5 and Type 2; some singing as well (they incorporate flight calls from other types in songs!) recording 1126: Type 2 and 5, crazy mix! recording 1127: Type 2, 5 and Cassia, maybe Type 3? Sadly can't confirm that one. So in summary, good recordings of Type 2, 5 and Cassia. Maybe Type 3 and 1, but can't confirm those.
