Observation details
Initially reported as Pomarine Jaeger (Stercorarius pomarinus), but misidentified due to lack of experience, the pictures that we took were send to friends and experts in Pelagic birds, in order to be sure of its identification and they confirmed it was a Parasitic Jaeger (Stercorarius parasiticus). Details: >>The small head and slender bill, plus other features = immature Parasitic, hatched in 2021 (the very trashed secondaries are still juvenile feathers). — Steve N. G. Howell<<
