Observation details
Incredible! Bird first seen flying through houses opposite Foss Beach, but then cut offshore. I rushed up to just south of Angel Pulloff and climbed up to get these photos as it continued north. We then tore up to Seal Rocks where Jane spotted it flying north and well offshore by this time. We assumed it was heading out to the Isles of Shoals, but it continued north past Duck Island and was heading toward Maine! Obviously not a Great Egret. Dark bill and lack of significant dark in wing tips eliminates Little Blue Heron. I suppose Little Egret can't be eliminated, but need to go with Snowy Egret. I believe previous late date for NH 11/22 (R. Woodward).
