Observation details

Wow, brown booby breeding season on Sutil! Observed 5-10 fluffy white chicks and at least 1 even smaller/younger bird. Observed active nest sites, adults carrying food, and adults actively feeding young. From what I can tell, this is the 1st ever December pelagic ebird report of Sutil, so made sure to take tons of photos of all this stuff. Most likely due to active nesting, many birds were not very flighty (didn't have any big swirls of birds, only ~20 ever took flight above Sutil). At first, it seemed like there was less than 100 boobies. However, after careful estimates from photos of every nook and cranny, settled on 130 as a conservative count.
