Observation details

This loon appears to be different than the Red-throated Loon in non-breeding plumage that was reported in earlier Ebird reports. The neck and face have more gray and the back has more white marks possibly indicating an immature. In terms of head shape and the upturned bill it looks good for Red-throated Loon.
