Observation details
This bird was discovered during the CBC on Dec. 17th in Middlebury, VT by David Guertin and Natalia Perchemlides. Jim Mead graciously showed where he has seen the bird including a few minutes before my arrival. Later on I met with Phil Magnant and Allan Strong. About two hours later Allan spotted the bird flying in front of a condo (20-26) near the end of Evergreen Lane. This bird is a medium-large tyrant flycatcher with a relatively long tail and large head that shows a brown bushy crest. Bill is black with a small hook. Upper parts brown and gray, . Gray breast and yellow-washed belly. Photos taken.
