Observation details

Two birds resting and feeding amongst sparse emergent saltmarsh. Intially amongst a small group of other waders. Diagnostic bill structure and crown plumage pattern evident. They seemed relaxed and slowly made their way closer to our viewing position. Prolonged views for ~1 hour.
