Observation details
Appears to be a good Id. Although perhaps not 100% ROGO. Re-found here by Peter Landry. It has a rounded head a small reddish bill with a small grin in the beak, beak is blue/gray at the base. Beak to head angle is closer to 180 degree than a typical snow goose, and beak is small but not as small as I have seen pure ROGO in the past. The feathering from head to beak seems ok for ROGO, ie feathering ends anteriorly at the beak with a straight up and down cut off ( in a Snow Goose the feathering on the beak ends in a circular angle.) It’s Smaller than CAGOs, all white with black wing tips to primaries, and pinkish legs Pictures and video taken TBA
