Observation details
Well!!! The undisputed highlight of the day as far as birds went was the long awaited actually good time I spent watching and bagging shots of the local Cormorant!!! It was, admittedly, very alarmed for a good while, swimming in panicked circles while craning its head up... but then, eventually, it decided to dive down and grab something large and tantalisingly Crayfish-shaped for a meal (that'd be a first for the property!!) !! After some five minutes of dwindling nervousness, the Cormorant slowed down, meandered over to the far bank of the Dam, and very clumsily waddled up to dry ground for a hearty and well-deserved bit of sunbathing, gladly hanging out its shaggy wings!!
