Observation details
Bird #1 came in alone at 5:17pm and immediately disappeared into a cavity in the backside of the known snag. After 5 minutes it reappeared and began calling vigorously until more Corellas replied. Bird #2 and #3 came together a few minutes after bird #1 started calling. Bird #2 landed on the snag while #3 circled high and went back up the hill. After a few minutes bird #3 came back and joined them at the top of the snag. While all 3 birds were visible on the snag, a bird #4 was heard calling from very far up the hill but never came down. #3 left again but stayed close. #3 came back and all three birds flew to another nearby tree. Bird #5? There may have been a distant 5th corella calling while the other four were in close range. Medium sized white cockatoo with bare eye-ring and pinkish wash around the top of the beak and cheek area.
