Observation details
I just saw the bird in my backyard, next to my feeders. I think the bird was taking a break from the all the noise that the city crew was making on the street. They had chainsaws and were cutting down a tree that was growing right above the bird's favourite bush! I'm sure later this afternoon it'll be sitting back in its favourite bush on the side of the road, making it very easy to find. It likes hanging out there and periodically flying over to feed on the frozen grapes on the vine that's climbing the northwest corner of my house. It's the bush on the east side of Hilson Avenue, just north of the green electrical box, precisely here: https://maps.app.goo.gl/FN87VNpGa7eMAaWt5 We had 6 birders come this morning to photograph the bird, and given that the bird's location is quite predictable, we encourage any and all who are keen to come and photograph it to come out. You're welcome to stand in our driveway or follow the bird into our backyard if you like. No worries. We're the house at 551 Hilson Ave. *Edit* as of 2:51pm, the bird is back in the front yard, eating grapes off of the vines. *Edit* as of 3:44pm the bird is in the backyard, perched above the birdfeeders *Edit* as of 4:14pm the bird is in the front yard eating grapes
